Are you looking for a place to take a walk or take photos of the city? The San Cristóbal viewpoint is a good alternative for the occasion. From this place, located near the main square, you will be able to appreciate the city in all its splendor. 3. Viewpoint of Santa Ana

The Santa Ana neighborhood is one of the oldest in the city. A visit to this beautiful place can be a journey back in time, since its history goes back to approximately 700 years before Christ. It has narrow streets, a church with a high tower and a viewpoint with spectacular views. Among the most beautiful places in the city of Cusco, this sector stands out for its past.
The Mirador de Santa Ana is in the highest part of the Northeast of the city. This privileged location offers incredible views of the main square and the climb to the Cristo Blanco. It is located in the square of the same name, which has been renovated with an ornamental pool and lights. Here you have the possibility to see the city both day and night.

4. Viewpoint of the White Christ

If you already have the camera ready, all that remains is to choose the best angle. The Mirador del Cristo Blanco is located on the Pukamoqo hill, at an approximate altitude of about 3,600 meters above sea level. A strategic area, in which you can spend hours taking photos and falling in love even more with this impressive city.
The viewpoint bears the name of Cristo Blanco for its huge statue, built in 1945 by the sculptor from Cusco Ernesto Olazo Allende. This monument was a donation from the Palestinian Arab colony and is located northeast of the city, near the Sacsayhuamán fortress, one of the most beautiful places in Cusco.

The monument has a museum inside, where you can learn about this Inca ruler and enjoy his interactive room. The place also gives you the option of taking a break in the surrounding gardens, sitting on one of the benches and admiring this amazing building.
Now that you have more information about some of the main viewpoints in Cusco, it is just a matter of choosing which one to start with. If you want to plan your departure in advance, you can schedule your trip through the Uber app and start exploring these and other places in the city.
